How We Achieve Our Aims


Amaudo UK achieves its aims by:

  • recruiting and supporting volunteers
  • supplying medical equipment, psychiatric drugs, books, information etc
  • delivering training programmes to Amaudo staff, local people and government workers
  • networking with organizations with whom we can share our experiences
  • supporting other Amaudo-related projects
  • raising awareness and co-ordinating supporters and funders in the UK
  • providing information technology
  • co-managing existing projects such as The Mental Health Awareness Project funded by Comic Relief & The Millennium Maintenance Training Programme, funded by The National Lottery Charities Board
  • developing new ideas and initiatives to meet needs in Nigeria
  • employing a project manager to carry out these objectives.
